The ALFERON Access Program™ is a centralized support system developed to make access to ALFERON N Injection® easy. The program is designed to enhance access to ALFERON N Injection® therapy by reducing or eliminating obstacles to distribution, while facilitating reimbursement and providing clinical information.

The ALFERON Access Program™ consists of three components:

What to Expect The ALFERON Access Program™ is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST. Representatives are available from each service area to address your specific request. Customer Service Representatives are available to answer questions regarding product distribution and access to ALFERON N Injection®. Also, our Clinical Specialists are on hand to answer technical, product, or clinical questions. In addition, Reimbursement Representatives work to effectively maximize reimbursement.
Distribution Services
Obtaining ALFERON N Injection® is easy once an Access account is established. Product is shipped in an insulated package for receipt on the next business day when requests are received by 4:00 p.m. EST. With most accounts, product is shipped direct; however, the Program provides the flexibility for drop-shipping through a designated wholesaler, when requested.
Clinical and Product Information Services
Professional Clinical Specialists are available to clinicians and patients to answer questions about ALFERON N Injection® -- its administration, proper storage, dosing, number of treatments per vial, and product labeling. Clinical and Product Information Services also serve as an adverse event information reporting center. In addition, published information and literature are available upon request.
Reimbursement Information Services
Reimbursement Representatives provide appropriate ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding designations specific to the use of ALFERON N Injection® to properly code and submit claims to payers. Screening for a patient's insurance eligibility, coverage verification, or payer payment policies is also available. In addition, Reimbursement Representatives can help develop appeal letters, search for available alternative insurance and funding sources, and confirm reimbursement outcomes.
